-When Trevor was ten years old, he was caught shoplifting batteries. Trevor's mom, Patricia told the cops that she will not take him up from jail, because her son needed to learn not to shoplift. But the cops thought no mother would leave her child in jail, so they let Trevor go, assuming he was an orphan. Trevor often borrowed cars with no proper registration from Abel’s auto shop. But Trevor was pulled over by a cop and because he was not the car’s owner,  he was arrested. Trevor borrowed money from a friend to hire a lawyer and went to jail. In jail, the cops brought a muscled Tsonga man. Trevor and the other prisoners were scared of this truly intimidating criminal. But Trevor thought about Nelson Mandela's speach of the power of speaking to someone in their language, and when Trevor began talking to the man in Tsonga, he discovered that this man was kind-hearted and facing a long sentence. When Trevor was moved to the holding cell to wait for his court hearing, he realized his companions were nothing like the petty thief he had just met. Hundreds of criminals waited with Trevor, all organized into the same racial groups Trevor had seen on the school playground. Trevor chose to stand with the white men, and he got an  advise to cry in front of the judge. Eventually, Trevor was released. Trevor’s cousin drove him home, where Patricia was waiting for him. Trevor was shocked that his mother paid for Trevor’s lawyer. Patricia explained that she was harsh to Trevor because she loved him, and that the world would try to kill him.

-There are many kinds of "love" in this world. But the primal love that everyone has from birth is maternal love. Even their children did something wrong, or do something horriable, all the moms in earth will fight for her child even they know that this is wrong. My mom also always fight for me. But sometimes.....hmm..... she's kinda mad. Really mad.
