-Trevor used to be discriminated against by black family and friends because he got a white man's blood in his body. Trevor knew that language was the best way to navigate his complex reality, so he learned many languages. In the sixth grade of school, Trevor was placed in the advanced class with no black classmates, and he was not accepted by the Black children in the other classes until he proved that he could speak African at recess. In the end, Trevor went out of the advanced class and go where his black friends were.

Write a blog post about your own life that matches the theme covered in the chapter you chose. [5 - ∞ sentences]

-I really thought a lot about the title of this chapter, "Chameleon". According to my little knowledge, the Chameleon is an animal that changes its color same to the background. I think language is also some kind of way to comport with the background by switching to the right language in the right situation. I played many online games with my friends, and there were many times when the Korean server did not work. So we often used the US server, but when communicating with other users, we had to use English rather than Korean, and there was a hassle of using Gamer-English Such as Bruh, Lol, or XD instead of just Normal-English. Using the right language in the right situation is the best way to live in a crowd.
